Google AI Accelerator
This June holidays, join the inaugural 2-week Google AI Accelerator 2025 - a hands-on learning experience for Secondary School and Junior College students in Singapore. In partnership with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Google Cloud, and the Cancer Science Institute at the National University of Singapore (NUS), the programme offers practical training in Python, AI, and Machine Vision. Apply your skills to real-world cancer imaging data and present your final project at Google HQ Singapore.

Fully sponsored by IMDA and Google Cloud

Programme Organiser
SG Code Campus is a leading tech education provider in Singapore, offering practical training in coding, data science, and AI for learners of all ages. Its programmes focus on bridging classroom learning with real-world application.
As a Google Cloud Authorised Training Partner with Google Authorised Instructors, SG Code Campus delivers hands-on courses in cloud computing and AI, using industry tools and real datasets to prepare learners for the future.

Industry Partner
The Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (CSI) is a top cancer research centre at the National University of Singapore. As an industry partner in the Google AI Accelerator, CSI is providing real, anonymised cancer imaging data for students to work with during the programme.
This unique collaboration allows students to explore the frontiers of biomedical science, applying AI to meaningful healthcare challenges — and experiencing first-hand how technology can contribute to the advancement of medicine.

School Partner
Dunman Secondary, an autonomous and leading STEM school, that is accorded Apple Distinguished School (2024–2027) status for its transformative use of technology in learning. Its STEM VIA DT Programme integrates STEM, design thinking, and community values to cultivate future leaders solving real-world challenges through innovation and 21CC.

Google Cloud Tools
This programme uses Google Cloud tools for AI and data analysis, including Vertex AI and Google Colab. Learn more here.
Prerequisites
This IMDA-funded programme is only open to students currently enrolled in a local, Ministry of Education (MoE) Junior College, Secondary School, or Millennia Institute. Unfortunately, the programme is not open to students enrolled at international schools in Singapore.
Prior programming experience is recommended but not required. However, prospective participants should have a very strong background in Mathematics and, ideally (though not necessarily), some exposure to Statistics typically covered in Junior College.
Students should also have access to their own modern laptop (PC, Mac or Linux); tablet computing devices are not suitable for this programme.
